Below is a profile of one of our consultants in our network:
Agnes Chan, PhD, Principal Consultant
Dr. Agnes Chan brings over 16 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience, holding senior leadership roles in new product development and clinical development. She has significant experience advising and managing emerging biotechnology clients with pipeline assessments and prioritization, commercial due diligence, technical assessments, forecasting and financial modeling. Most recently, Dr. Chan served as Senior Director, Portfolio and Project Management at QLT Inc, managing all development activities - including manufacturing, preclinical, clinical, regulatory affairs and market research - for new compounds. Previously, Dr. Chan served as Director of Clinical Research, leading all Phase I/II and Phase II clinical development activities at QLT, Inc. Dr. Chan began her career in the industry as a Senior Scientist in the Preclinical Development department at QLT, Inc.
Dr. Chan received her PhD in Immunology from the University of British Columbia and completed her postdoctoral training with Dr. Tak Mak at the Ontario Cancer Institute. She was the holder of several academic scholarships/ fellowships and patents.
